Jim Waldock,

I am also a Realtor with Reece and Nichols in Overland Park. I can be reached at 913-669-0475
Bill Conroy, Treasurer
I have been involved with real estate investing and KCIG since the late 1980′s. Working with a partner we bought, sold, rented, rehabed, and financed properties. Of course we have a lot of “war stories” but never had a serious problem. Every investment was profitable. We feel this level of success with minimal problems was due to the training we received at KCIG. It is possible to acquire the training, skills, and contacts necessary for a profitable real estate operation through regular attendance at the KCIG meetings. My professional career includes positions in accounting, tax computations and planning, small business financing, insurance, and managing a manufacturing company. These skills have been useful in real estate investing, but I would not have enjoyed this level of success without the benefits received from KCIG. Bill Conroy can be reached at 816-513-6050.
Cindy Seely, Secretary
I began in real estate in the early ’80′s obtaining my real estate license and then proceeding as a real estate appraiser in 1990, I have appraised properties in 3 states and then my career in real estate turned again in 1995 when I became a mortgage broker. I was fortunate to have learned lending in a very aggressive and creative California market and I am very pleased to see that it has finally evolved to the Midwest. In the early 80′s we also began investing in real estate some we rehabbed and some we retained. At this time I do not do any real estate investing myself but choose to lend my experiences and knowledge instead with others.

Chris Isariotis, Board Member
Chris has been involved in real estate 20+ years. In the beginning, he did rehabs for other landlords and businesses. After a few years of this type of work, he decided to begin purchasing property and doing his own rehabs. He continued doing commercial refrigeration and real estate rentals and rehabs for the next 10 years. Now his main focus is being the owner of his own company, Izzy’s Espresso Service Company – a company that buys, sells, repairs and imports espresso and coffee equipment. Since this company began 10 years ago, our focus has changed from day to day rehab and landlording, to building new homes and targeting the properties toward handicapped and elderly tenants. Chris has held numerous officer positions both on the executive board and board of directors with KCIG since the early ‘80s. He was inducted into the KCIG Hall of Fame in 2001. Chris is married and his wife Donna does a lot for the club as a silent member.

David Painter
I started in real estate in the spring of 2008. I was caught up in the typical way of middle class thinking. Work hard & long, try to save a little money and hope for the best (while buying do-dads along the way). When I finally realized that that kind of thinking wasn’t working for me and providing what I wanted out of life (since I was getting close to retirement), I started searching for what would provide for me the life style that I wanted. At one point, my son, son-in-law and I sat in my living room discussing what we could be involved in to change our lives. As we looked at all the possibilities, we narrowed it down to real estate. I went to a Friday night seminar put on by Rich Dad Education. From there I went to a 3 day seminar. I knew after that 3 day event that real estate is where I needed to be. I took some real estate classes by Rich Dad Education and have been involved in real estate since that time. Since the spring of 2008, I have been involved in several real estate deals. Through our education, working deals and talking with other investors, I can put any deal together that comes my way. I grateful for the opportunities real estate investing has provided.
