Annual membership dues are $50 per individual. Membership includes a monthly newsletter which can be sent by regular mail, email or both ways. (NOTE: There will be a charge of $25 if a check is returned due to NSF or closed account.)
Or if you’d prefer to subscribe for our monthly newsletter only, a subscription can be purchased separately for $20 per year.
Payment: You can mail your application and membership dues, or $20 newsletter only fee, to KCIG, PO Box 411482, Kansas City, MO 64141 but this may delay processing by up to one month. It is best to apply online using the credit card payment option or join in person at our monthly meeting. Do not send cash by US mail.
Temporary guest memberships: Non-members wishing to attend the KCIG business meeting may pay $15 for a temporary membership valid for that month. Do not apply online or use PayPal for temporary guest memberships.
Membership upgrade policy: A temporary member may upgrade to full member status by paying the difference only on the same night of the visit, not at a later date.

Acknowledgement: Applicants will not necessarily receive an official notice or communication that their application has been received and processed. If you apply online, bring your completed application and PayPal receipt to the first meeting you attend to expedite check-in. Membership name tags can be picked up at the check-in table at the monthly meeting.
Important Notes: Apply for membership online only if you intend to make payment immediately by credit card or PayPal. You can use your credit card or check with PayPal without needing to set up your own personal PayPal account. Do not apply online if you plan to mail a check or pay in person at the next meeting.
Benefits of Membership
Monthly Meetings – You’ll hear leading local and national real estate experts share their insights and experience on a wide range of real esate investment topics. Get updates on changing laws and investment techniques. Prior to or after our main presentation, you’ll have an opportunity to network with local investors. This is a perfect time to ask a question or present a problem, and to get answers & direction from experienced investors!
Networking – Interact with active real estate investors, landlords and entrepreneurs who are willing to share their tips & techniques, successes & strategies re: property acquisition & management, maintenance care, financing, legal issues and other real estate related matters.
Advertising – A chance to market your properties, products or services to an interested audience, and a chance to find some super bargains at our monthly meetings. A marketing table is provided at meetings for KCIG members to place their business cards and property flyers, etc.
Vendor Discounts – Direct marketing of real estate related products, programs, and services that investors and landlords can use. With collective buying power, we can often get discounts on goods and services from participating local businesses.
Announcements – Members may present properties for sale, or announce a real estate related service or business at our meetings. Also, we’ll be glad to make announcements re: upcoming events presented by other real estate groups, such as:

Resource Library – We have a lending library of real estate books, tapes and workbooks available FREE to active members. Topics cover almost every aspect of real estate – including contracts and protective clauses, landlording. building wealth with real estate, creative financing and no-money down techniques. Authors include Ron LeGrand, Carleton Sheets, Robert Shemin, Robert Kiyosaki, Robert G. Allen, Scott Rister and many others! If you’d like to donate or lend programs from your private collection, please notify a KCIG Board member.
Seminars – Special programs and events related to Real Estate and wealth building are available to members at greatly reduced prices!
Other Events – Holiday party, potlucks, picnics, workshops and special events. We periodically present nationally known real estate speakers.
